Study Guarantee
he Department is approved to provide the study programme of Ecology and Protection of Biodiversity at all three stages of higher education and is authorised to conduct habilitation and inauguration procedures.
Poslaním katedry je vyučovanie predmetov všeobecného biologického základu so zameraním na rozvoj teoretických biologicko-ekologických disciplín, ktoré sú tesne späté s ekológiou a ochranou prírodného prostredia. Výučbou niektorých
špeciálnych predmetov katedra doposiaľ participovala na profilovaní študentov vyšších ročníkov v odbore Aplikovaná ekológia. V rámci akreditovaných študijných programov garantujú pracovníci katedry študijný odbor Ekológia a ochrana biodiverzity.
